It only just hit me a couple of days ago, but I realized that somewhere along the way, I've come to be obsessive about documenting my own life in physical media.
It began by innocuously picking up a film camera to take fun photos, but has spiraled into creating this blog, then instant cameras, and finally a good ol' fashioned journal for myself. I've noticed that since I have been writing into my journal, there has been less of a desire to write on this site. Thus, these photos have been sitting here in this blog post for weeks, and only now have I finally mustered the willpower to add text to it.
This blog was originally a way to make a space for my thoughts, but I guess I've always wanted my thoughts to be recorded in a physical format. The handwritten journal is a great medium to write down all the nonsensical thoughts I have in my head without fear of judgment from an audience. Something that can't be achieved in an online photo blog thingamajig.
I've been considering maybe switching up the format for this site a bit! Maybe I should just talk less here and let the photos speak for themselves. Maybe occasionally give a life update or two but ease up on long-winded rants about my life unless something incredibly exciting pops up.

These are just some casual shots I've taken over the last couple of weeks while relaxing and staying socially distant. Hope you enjoy!
