”Good news, everyone!” - Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth
I did it! I finally finished nursing school!
It feels like a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders. This past year has been a wild ride and I feel like I've grown quite a bit. Just to do a quick recap of what's happened since the beginning of 2018 until current day 2019:
It's been a roller-coaster of emotions and it still shocks me when I think about how much I have accomplished in the past year.
So, what am I up to now?
As I prepare to take my nursing licensure exam, I have been spending as much time as possible with the lovely friends I've made here in Philly. Due to my unstable living situation at the moment, I'm flying home to California next week to finally visit my family and sleepy town! But I'll definitely miss everyone here in the city a great deal as well. But! If I land that job I interviewed for last week, I'd be ecstatic to call Philly home for a while longer.
As for photos: I've been taking a bunch! I just mailed out about 10 rolls of film the other day and I'm always on the move with a camera at my hip. Either it be film or digital. I know my photos aren't that great, compositions are sloppy, exposures are off, the photos don't always tell a story. But I'm just happy to have the opportunity to capture these moments as a form of keepsakes of sorts. Something I can look back to in the future and recall the fun times I had with everyone.

- found out I got into nursing school while I was applying for my doctorates
- graduated with my first degree
- moved across the country on my own
- lived by myself for the first time ever
- existed in a constant state of stress - nursing school
- graduated with my second degree!
- interviewed for my dream job in the operating room!!
It's been a roller-coaster of emotions and it still shocks me when I think about how much I have accomplished in the past year.

But! Until then, I'll most definitely be updating this blog more! I have so many photos to share and this is blog is such a positive, creative outlet for me. I can't wait to see what photos come back with my developed rolls (it even includes a roll of shots from 4 years ago!) Maybe there will be a narrative to my next post, maybe not! Chances are, it'll just be me rambling along again.
Until next time!
